make_audio

make_audio is a graphical tool to create audio CDs from MP3 or wav files. You can simply arrange a playlist of all songs that you want. The application converts MP3 files to WAV and then puts them on the CD.

    Release Notes: The dot directory has been changed to $ENV{HOME}/.mkaudio/ and the data directory to $ENV{HOME}/.mkaudio/data/. A "Play/Stop" button and functions have been added that play MP3s. MP3info is disabled (it has some bugs with colors in the mp3tag output). A "Process output" window and some IPC functions have been added. The application has been split into two parts, mkaudioCD and burn_part. The code has been cleaned up. A bug with file extensions in upper case has been fixed. A bug with calling an undefined subroutine has been fixed.

      Release Notes: This release adds "Clear list", "Add single file", and "Load XMMS playlist". The update_lb function and internal work with playlists have been rewritten.

        Release Notes: This release adds a "Fast blank CDRW" checkbutton and blanking function, icons in error messages boxes, some key bindings (see Help), an "MP3 info" button and window (if mp3tag is installed), and a counter for songs in the playlist. It fixes the "spaces in dir names" bug, a path bug, and bugs related to some events. It makes some checks in the update_lb function and checks for required software (cdrecord, sox, mpg123). The "Remove MP3 files" and "mpg123 verbose" checkbuttons have been removed.
