Release Notes: Bugs fixed include a memory leak and a "bgerror" crash. Single-line single-word emails now blocked when they weren't previously. Tagging subject lines with "subject:" in lowercase now works properly. Other improvements include an improved timeout handler, better sanity checking on initial response from downstream SMTP server, configurable network inactivity timeout, and an improved child process limiter that prevents snowball effects. FreeBSD support is much improved.

Release Notes: A potential buffer overflow in the library code has been corrected, and a bug affecting plugin response codes has been fixed. A long-standing bug causing threads to hang without using any CPU time has also been fixed. Recognition of a new method of junk hiding has also been added. In the SURBL plugin, there are numerous updates, including fixing a URL parsing bug in the SURBL plugin, adding bitwise filtering to SURBL DNS responses, and amending the SURBL debug responses so they are no longer specific to multi.surbl.org and are shown as a bitmap with the corresponding bitmask.

Release Notes: Some problems that occurred if some environment variables which are normally present were not set were resolved along with occasional FreeBSD errors. Boundary limits were added to the blacklists and whitelists to offer more control over matching, and some speed-ups have been applied to the scanning core.

Release Notes: A bug in MIME multi-part handling has been fixed, along with better handling of accented characters. An issue with uvscan AV has been corrected where it would inadvertently throw out clean messages. The response to HELO no longer identifies MailStripper specifically. Additionally, a new "Permitted Domains" list has been added for use on systems whose MTAs insist on allowing local interfaces to relay despite the configuration. This will operate irrespective of the current licence state.

Release Notes: This release has been significantly enhanced, with a completely rewritten, much faster scanning core with support for Tcl-style regular expressions in the keyword list. DNS blocklists and a Honeypot list are supported to automatically blacklist IPs trying to deliver spam. Antivirus support has been enhanced with the avwrap feature, to allow use of unsupported antivirus systems or custom AV configurations via a wrapper script. The SMTP Welcome banner may now be customised, for those who prefer not to reveal what software is being run on the server.

Release Notes: The bugfix in the IP blacklister has been improved so it works all the time now. The X-MailStripper-ActuallyTo header has been removed due to privacy concerns regarding BCCd mail; this has been replaced with a message serial number that is also logged to retain complete traceability. A small performance tweak has also been included in this release.
