    Release Notes: Many small improvements that have accumlated over the last few years: a --backup-tree argument to support backing up deleted email into a tree structure; Mac and MacPorts compatibility; the ability to sync between Linux and Windows; improved maildir compatibility; and small usability and security enhancements.

      Release Notes: Options have been added to exclude files from only one side of the synchronization, and an option to map source and target filenames (rename files between the two sides) has been added.

          Release Notes: A contributed software, called mailbalance, was added to demonstrate the usage of maildirsync. This software is a collection of scripts, and it synchronizes several users' mailboxes between two hosts.

            Release Notes: A bug that made initial synchronization impossible was fixed. Better error handling is performed when opening temporary files, a sample wrapper script was added, and source control was moved to Subversion.

              Release Notes: The file name default has changed from maildirsync to maildirsync.pl to match the filename in the distribution. This release runs on Perl 5.6. The ability to parameterize the "rsh" command has been added.

                Release Notes: A fix was made for the regex, which allows full hostnames in the mail-filenames.
