Release Notes: A new JDBC Frontend Interface has been added. This interface enables application to access virtual data federation containers or requests via JDBC, in addition to the XML-HTTP and SOAP interfaces. The JDBC interface allows access to data that not only resides in SQL oriented databases, but also to LDAP, 3270 mainframe transactions, and to the new XML/Web Service backend connectors. Also new is the XML-HTTP/Web Service connector that provides the integration of data from other Web services into the virtual data federation structure.
Release Notes: Changes were made in the user interface by having a tree oriented implementation. A new Java 3270 client package was implemented. Code cleanup was done and full support for Update/Delete/Insert Containers on all backend systems was added. The dependency on MySQL as the source for all SAGA.M31 - Galaxy - Object components was dropped. The statistics settings were enhanced. Sample requests against the local server with a generator for XML and SOAP requests was implemented.
Release Notes: The Web Services implementation is now WS-I Basic Profile 1.1 and Basic Profile 1.0 compliant. All public WSDLs are now accessible via the following URL: http(s)://your.galaxy.server/Galaxy/wsdl. A sample Galaxy Server is available. The SQL Connector now has the ability to browse all the tables' contents and their structures. The install page is not shown by default for new Galaxy Installations. It is now accessible via the following URL: http(s)://your.galaxy.server/Galaxy/install.
Release Notes: Now multiple Containers can be chosen and have their WSDLs generated in one WSDL file. When creating Containers, the fields from Connectors are now grouped by requests. Connection to the LDAP Servers is now done via SSL if the LDAP URL starts with "ldaps://". It's now possible to include environment variables in the connector properties, SQL queries, and LDAP filters. A new installer eliminates the galaxy.properties files that was needed in the previous versions. A license key is now required to run Galaxy.
