Release Notes: The build-time configuration for ncurses and pdcurses libraries was improved. Tilde-expansion of filenames was improved; this is used to provide user-configurable mime-type and mailcap files outside the user's home directory (and to fix a minor security issue related to this). Other minor configure- and install-fixes were made.
Release Notes: The initial changes for 2.8.7 development were made, such as updating version numbers and resyncing message libraries. One bug regarding printing a localized version message was fixed.
Release Notes: Aside from the usual fixes and ports, this version provides better support for the wide-character ncurses library.
Release Notes: Port-specific fixes (the port to BeOS has been finished, the script has been adjusted to work with Perl 5.5, etc).
Release Notes: This release adds a sample script for older color schemes. It improves the VMS build scripts.
No changes have been submitted for this release.
Release Notes: This release changes the location of configuration files (lynx.cfg and lynx.lss) and help files to follow current conventions. It fixes a couple of bugs in the MinGW configuration, as well as others.
Release Notes: This is a pre-release for 2.8.6 (the same as the development release 2.8.6dev.19). There are many bugfixes, most of which focus on the wide-character support. The color-style configuration has been enhanced, allowing it to simulate the older color configuration, so packagers need not choose between the two (color-style is now the default).
