Release Notes: This release added support for 2.6.5-7.311 (SLES 9), 2.6.9-67.0.7.EL (RHEL 4), 2.6.16.54-0.2.5 (SLES 10), 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5 (RHEL 5), and 2.6.22.14 vanilla (kernel.org). Patchless client support was extended to 2.6.16 - 2.6.22 vanilla (kernel.org). Network handling updates include updates for supporting the OFED abstraction layer, Infiniband, Myrinet GM, Myrinet MX, UNICOS/lc, and Quadrix Qsnet. SELinux and ACL support was fixed. Error type differentiation was added. There were also numerous bugfixes and code cleanups.
Release Notes: This release fixes two critical bugs. For the first bug, unmounting OSTs before MDT caused objects greater than 1 to be treated as orphans and deleted on remount. With the second bug, MDT failed when upgraded from 1.6.3 to 1.6.4.1.
Release Notes: The vanilla, RHEL, and SLES kernel patches were updated. Privilege escalation, CPU utilization, and file contention bugs have been fixed. Recoverable error handling has been improved. Disk I/O block size issues have been fixed. Bugs relating to files greater than 2TB on 32-bit systems have been fixed. This release retunes parameters and fixes timeout issues.
