lua-httpd provides a shared library that implements simple networking primitives which can then be used from within your own Lua scripts. As well as the shared library, there is a simple sample HTTP server (with virtual host support), demonstrating how the library can be used.

Release Notes: The extension library has been updated to also provide some simple filesystem primitives. These primitives are used to make the HTTP server much more complete; it can now support directory indexing, and fall back to using a default virtualhost if the requested one doesn't exist.
