      Release Notes: An Apache configuration migration tool is available. The process manager for External Application has been improved. The limitation of the number of virtual hosts has been removed. High performance event dispatchers epoll, kqueue, and /dev/poll have been implemented. DirectoryIndex directive support in .htaccess has been added. The bundled PHP binary has been upgraded to 4.3.10. There are minor bugfixes.

        Release Notes: FastCGI Authorizer support has been implemented. Wildcard domain name is implemented in listener to virtual host mapping. Regular expressions can be used to specify allowed domains in hotlink protection. There are bugfixes in the rewrite engine.

          Release Notes: The OpenSSL library has been upgraded to 0.9.7e. A problem where the SSL hardware accelerator was not working on FreeBSD has been fixed.

            Release Notes: A bug in the CGI daemon on Solaris that left zombie children processes was fixed. Request rate throttling can now be turned off for trusted IPs. The accuracy of the idle connection count in the real-time server status report was improved and the default configuration was fine-tuned.

              Release Notes: The pre-built PHP binary has been upgraded to version 4.3.9 with GD and zlib extensions enabled, and a persistent Perl CGI daemon equivalent to Apache mod_perl's Apache::Registry has been implemented.

                Release Notes: The AWStats log analyzer has been integrated with the LiteSpeed Web admin interface, AWStats configuration and statistics updates have been automated, the server watchdog has been completely re-engineered, which allows 100% uptime during server restarts and even server binary upgrades, a bug in the rewrite engine has been fixed, compatibility with Apache's mod_rewrite has been improved, rotated access log files can now be stored in compressed format, and reliability and security have been improved for the CGI daemon.

                  Release Notes: The anti-DoS algorithm has been improved. A bug that may cause a Solaris SPARC version crash has been fixed. A bug that may have caused a corrupted reply on FreeBSD has been fixed, and there are other minor improvements.

                    Release Notes: An Apache-compatible rewrite engine has been implemented. Support for Microsoft FrontPage Server Extension 2002 has been added. Flexible directory auto-indexing by using an external script to generate an index page has been implemented. suExec for FastCGI applications has been implemented. Static file compression has been improved by using an internal compression routine. The suffix for compressed files has been changed from ".gz" to ".lsz".

                      Release Notes: A bug that may have caused internally redirected requests failure has been fixed, as was a bug in the SSL implementation that may have caused a blank page to be displayed in the user's Web browser. The FastCGI process manager has been improved to remove dead Unix domain sockets automatically and a bug in the Web admin interface has been fixed.
