Release Notes: This release supports HTTP proxies that use non-standard carriage control and/or incorrect authentication headers. It works around Java/Linux time zone bugs. A client ISO image has been added for Linux (to run the client from a CD on Linux). Rough edges have been filed off of the UI in several places. Licenses are validated more sensibly. It is now based on JDK 1.4.1_01.
Release Notes: Linux client support was added. An IP Address Alert now detects IP address changes and mails you, which is useful for DSL users that are frequently disconnected. A new Camouflage mode suppresses log files, encrypts your settings file, and stores it in an arbitrary location in order to avoid leaving a recognizable signature on your hard disk. A client ISO image also lets you run the Loophole Client from CD without any other installation. This version also features a new UI look and feel, and several bugfixes and enhancements.
