Release Notes: The goal of this release is to improve the content extraction and the subsequent indexing of the documents loaded in LogicalDOC. The parser for the extraction of the textual content from documents OpenOffice, KOffice, and StarOffice has been reviewed. There are new parsers for text extraction from AbiWord, WordPerfect, and HTML. The import from ZIP archives has been modified to improve the import of ZIP produced in non-Unicode format, in which documents and folders names may contain non-Latin characters. German and Spanish translations have been updated.
Release Notes: This version improves the processing of ideographic characters using UTF-8. Due to changes in the system, you can use LogicalDOC in the Chinese and Greek languages, indexing and searching for documents in non-Latin languages. The changes affected only the software, so you can install this new version directly on an existing deployment. Also, browsing by tag has been improved with the ability to search on a manually entered character.
Release Notes: This version has a new external authentication plugin that adds support for LDAP specifications (OpenLDAP or Active Directory). It has Discussion Forums on documents, multiple browse views, PDF conversion, RSS feeds, an improved versioning system with complete diff among metadata, and many more.
Release Notes: This release mainly fixes a bug that appeared with the release of Firefox 3.0.7. This bug prevents the upload of documents using the forms created with ICEfaces. The problem was not detected with other browsers (e.g. IE 7.0). This release also changes some icons and fixes some problems related to the management of users and groups.
