Release Notes: Several bash special characters are now escaped if they are found in the message. An -n option was added for no forking. The syslog() function was updated to log to the correct priority/facility. A new "stop" alert that causes logdog to stop processing further alerts was added. The configuration file was updated to reflect changes, and there are more examples in it.
Release Notes: The 2.0 series of Logdog is a complete rewrite. It no longer actually opens log files, but receives messages passing through syslogd in realtime. The configuration file has been completely redone and is now much more flexible.
