Release Notes: This release adds support for audio device selection under Mac OS. The connect dialog list is now sorted by the ping time. All software icons have been updated. Distortions of the audio signal if an USB sound card is used under Mac OS are fixed. An issue with slave server unregistering is solved.

  •  01 Jul 2011 20:44

Release Notes: Implementation of a new GUI skin for the main window of the software. A list of available servers is shown on pressing the connect button. The jitter buffer size can now be independently set for client and server. The auto-jitter buffer algorithm is improved. For Linux, the Qt project file is used too. The settings file is stored in the home directory instead of the application directory. New server settings for the server list are given in the main server GUI, and settings file support is added for server operation. A bug in the JACK audio interface was fixed.

  •  24 Feb 2011 22:08

Release Notes: A warning is shown in the main window if the audio delay is too long, a download link is added in the help menu, and a bug with the solo switch is fixed.

  •  01 Jul 2010 22:44

Release Notes: This release adds stereo audio channel support. It adds input/output audio channel mapping for the ASIO audio interface.

  •  16 Mar 2010 21:49

Release Notes: Support for Mac OS X (using the CoreAudio audio interface). Sound card frame size support for frame sizes other than 128, 256, and 512 samples. An improvement in network buffer (jitter buffer) in case of small buffer sizes. All available ASIO sample formats are supported. A bugfix for the M-Audio Delta ASIO driver.

  •  05 Dec 2009 20:11

Release Notes: Accessibility improvements were made. The number of connected clients is now shown in the window title. "Whats this" help text was added to the GUI controls in the general settings dialog. Tool tips were added to some GUI controls. Server logging history grid lines of weekend days are now plotted with different line width. ALSA support was removed since the ALSA interface implementation in llcon was buggy and will not be maintained in the future. A fix was made for the x-axis of the server logging history graph. A disconnect issue at the server was fixed.

  •  21 Sep 2009 12:25

Release Notes: A fix was made for the Jack Linux audio interface: ports are only registered once and connect when the software is started up. Under bad network conditions, chat messages are no longer randomly repeated. In the case where the server was shutdown and restarted during a connection, the channel name is now updated correctly at the server. The help texts were updated. A new design was made for the fader tag. On the server, the time stamp is also shown for chat messages, and parsing of an existing log file is supported.

  •  23 Aug 2009 17:52

Release Notes: Buzzing occurred when the audio stream was interrupted (e.g. in case of network trouble); this has been fixed. If "Open Chat on New Message" is not enabled, a hint in the status bar is shown when a message is received. This release uses a low complexity CELT encoder profile, which lowers audio dropout probability on slow computers.

  •  19 Aug 2009 22:05

Release Notes: This release introduces a new audio codec "CELT", which replaces all old audio codecs and is now a core component of the llcon software. Only the sound card frame sizes 128, 256, and 512 are allowed (since other frame sizes require additional conversion buffers that introduce delay). IMA-ADPCM and MS-ADPCM have been removed. Since CELT works on 48 kHz sample rate, resampling was removed. There are various bugfixes (e.g. disconnecting did not work reliably).

  •  09 Jul 2009 07:14

Release Notes: A new system sample rate of 33 kHz is used to improve audio quality, but is not compatible with old versions. A history graph was added for server logging. A command line argument was added for connecting a server at software start-up.
