LJKit is a framework of Objective-C classes that provide a wrapper to the LiveJournal client protocol. It is based on Apple's Cocoa framework (and could possibly be ported to GNUstep).

Release Notes: This release is intended to bring LJKit closer to version 1.0. LJMoods has been rewritten. Groups are now updated together with friends. Friends are no longer downloaded implicitly. Friends notifications have been removed for the time being. The focus is now on bug fixes and code cleanup; new features will wait until 1.1 (with possibly some exceptions).

Release Notes: Friends page checking now occurs in a background thread. Numerous improvements were made to the code design.
