    Release Notes: The core code was totally rewritten. A new build system is used. Problems with Intel Core Duo machines were fixed. avr32 support was added.

                Release Notes: Internationalization (i18n) support was added. New Red Hat and Debian "banner" logos were added. Other minor Makefile and cosmetic fixes were made.

                  Release Notes: This version includes a complete re-write of the sysinfo subsystem. It fixes all known CPU reporting bugs, including the problem with Duron processors. Also included is a bonus version of linux_logo coded entirely in assembly language.

                    Release Notes: Full, modular, custom logo support was added, with allowances for an abitrary number of logos compiled in, plus random selection. Many bug-fixes were also made. The logo generation code was totally rewritten. New support for Athlon, Crusoe, and ARM processors was added.
