                    Release Notes: The driver mess involving "invalidate_device()" was cleaned up. sd.c was modified to work with the USB Dane-Elec CompactFlash Card Reader. A nasty lazy kernel page table update problem was fixed. The recent fork() changes were undone because of too many user-level bugs and unresolved issues. iso9660 cleanups were made. A big merge from the Alan Cox tree was made. UHCI PCI DMA setup was fixed.

                      Release Notes: A hang on boot with SMP was fixed, as well as a few more ugly bugs. The freevxfs module name was fixed. The alloc_etherdev docs were updated. Dead functions were removed and ip_set_manually was put back in the ipconfig code. An SA_ONSTACK standards violation (for x86) was fixed. Another species of SB AWE 32 is now supported. An SE401 USB camera driver was added. MAX_HD was corrected. Fixes were made for inode-nr corruption, pgd_alloc for user-mode-linux, UML hostfs for get_hardsect_size, and an acm open race. The APM options settings were tidied up. Further bounce buffer fixes were made. ACPI was updated.
