Linux-Kontor
Linux-Kontor is a project for the development of a free business management software suite. Core components of this suite are the commodities, bookkeeping, accountancy, and inventory management modules. Platform-independence, Internet capabilities, and scalability are the three main design requirements. The developers have decided to use Java and a three-tier client-server architecture. The data is stored in an SQL database.

Now hosted by SourceForge
The Linux-Kontor team has decided to host the project at SourceForge. In the next days we will move the CVS, mailing lists and maybe the web pages to the SourceForge machines.
New web pages
I have moved the web pages to a new server and enhanced the layout and content.
The english pages are now under www.linux-kontor.de/en/ (www.linux-kontor.de/en/), Italian, Spanish and Hungarian pages are in preparation. Please contact me if you want to help translating.

New English Mailing list
I have set up a Mailing list for English speaking people.
The list address is kontor_en@ios-online.de (mailto:kontor_en@ios-online.de), to subscribe/unsubscribe send an email to
kontor_en-request@ios-... (mailto:kontor_en-request@ios-...).
This list is not yet separated for development and usage, so feel free to write anything you want. Needless to say that the preferred language on this list is English ;)
