Linux Huawei Unlocker

Linux Huawei Unlocker is a tool that attempts to automatically remove the carrier lock on Huawei mobile broadband modems from the Linux command line. It automatically finds IMEIs, calculates unlock codes, checks SIM lock status, displays remaining unlock attempts, and asks the user for confirmation before trying the unlock code.

    Release Notes: This release adds extra warnings that this script will probably not work with the current generation of modems. Hopefully, a solution will be found.

      Release Notes: This release improves feedback to the user and specifically warns against use of certain modems (E220 and E353) which have been reported as resistant to this tool. All improvements are minor, but users are advised to update to benefit from the warnings.

        Release Notes: Improvements have been made to the documentation and contact details for feedback which has been added. Very minor UI improvements have been made. No new functionality has been added, so existing users need not upgrade.
