Linapple is an emulator of Apple 2 (Apple][, Apple//, Apple 2) series computers for Linux or other POSIX-compliant systems with SDL support. It is derived from and is almost as powerful as AppleWin.

    Release Notes: This release fixes a screen corruption bug for 64-bit systems. It fixes a gcc 4.4 compilation error lacking . FTP support has been added; you can load disk images on Slots 6 (1 & 2) and hard disk images, using an FTP server such as apple.asimov.net. Press Alt+F3, Alt+Shift+F3 to load a disk image through FTP. Screen sizes are now flexible. You can set any screen size you wish, but be cautious: not all screen sizes can work in full screen mode. There is .zip image support for FDD 140K (in read-only mode). Only the first file in a .zip archive will be read and inserted as an image.

      Release Notes: Opening of compressed .gz files in read-only mode. Very quick load-save states (CTRL+0..9 to load a state, and CTRL+SHIFT+0..9 to save it) in the current states directory. Mockingboard (but not Phasor) support, without speech, has been added. VideoBenchmark has been added: run 'linapple -b' to see the benchmark running and its result in the console. The parallel printer file name can be set in linapple.conf (the default was Printer.txt in the working directory).
