      Release Notes: Deprecation warnings no longer appear for Mac OS 10.5. Sockets have been fixed to raise socket.timeout correctly. Bugs have been fixed in connect() and disconnect() in OBEXClient for both Mac OS and Linux. OBEX transfer speed for OBEXClient on Linux has been fixed.

        Release Notes: The main feature of this release is a new OBEXClient class for the Mac OS X and Linux platforms. The library also now works on Mac OS 10.5, and the BTUtil framework has been renamed to "LightAquaBlue" and has been completely rewritten. The internals of the Linux OBEX client and server implementations have also been completely rewritten to be more flexible and more easily customized. Various Unicode-related bugs have also been fixed.

            Release Notes: This fixes the Python for Series 60 3rd Edition builds as well as components of the 2nd Edition FP2 and FP3 builds. There are also improvements for the sockets implementation on Mac OS X.

              Release Notes: The major features for this release include L2CAP client sockets for Mac OS X and GNU/Linux, and a SIS binary distribution for Python for Series 60 3rd Edition. The Mac OS X sockets implementation has also been improved.

                Release Notes: Currently it features device discovery (with and without an end-user GUI), service discovery, an RFCOMM socket interface, sending and receiving files over OBEX, advertising of RFCOMM and OBEX services, and access to local device information. The Mac OS X implementation also includes BTUtil, an Objective-C API for simplified access to OBEX operations and other functions.
