Unique numeric IDs are used for almost every item in the diary, which can be used in links. A new link syntax which shows descriptive text instead of the target when the cursor is not in it was implemented. The item that is shown at startup can be configured. Hidden markup characters were implemented. The formatting toolbar now works. Timestamp insertion (ALT+T) was added to the entry text editor. Auto-completion is supported in the tag editor.
