libxklavier is an XKB foundation library. It is intended to help in the development of keyboard handling software for the X Window System.

Release Notes: Major architectural changes were made. The API is broken, so users of GNOME 2.8 should not upgrade (though users of GNOME CVS/2.9 have to). Some bugfixes have been made. The debugging level can be setup using XKL_DEBUG envvar.

Release Notes: This release is now able to detect the default xkb rules set at runtime. The option --with-xkb-rules-set is not necessary any more.
