Release Notes: Various Pixart JPEG fixes were made. In libv4l, more laptop models were added to the upside-down devices table. Keytable gained support for Sanyo IR and the RC-5-SZ protocol, and missing buttons were added. Various improvements from the development branch were integrated.

Release Notes: Quirk support for forced tinyjpeg fallback has been added. A better luminance quantization table for Pixart JPEG has been introduced in tinyjpeg. Support for libjpeg >= v7 has been added. Software autowhitebalance now converges faster. JL2005BCD support has been improved. In libv4l, some more laptop models have been added to the upside-down devices table. A new matching algorithm for the upside-down table has been introduced. Several further enhancements and bugfixes have been made.

Release Notes: In v4l2-ctl, support was added for the new bitmask control type and for the control event, along with small bugfixes. qv4l2 gained support for bitmap controls. A new parser for dumps of em28xx with the drxk frontend was added. In libv4l, some more laptop models were added to the upside down devices table, support for the SE401 pixel format was implemented, and software autogain tweaks were made. Several other minor changes were made.

Release Notes: Various enhancements to libv4l were made, resulting in significantly less CPU usage with UVC HD cameras in several scenarios. An experimental library was added for associating video, audio, vbi, and other devices with each other, allowing apps, for example, to automatically figure out which ALSA input device carries the audio for a specific corresponding video device. Many more laptop models were added to the table of upside down devices. Support for the M420, Y10B, and JPGL pixel formats was added. The JPEG decompression code was rewritten for speed. Many further enhancements and fixes were made.

Release Notes: Support for software video processing was added, such as whitebalancing, automatic gain and exposure for cams which lack this in hardware, and gamma control. It also adds fake v4l2 controls to control all these as well as software flipping controls. Images from cameras known to be mounted upside down are flipped. Many other improvements, enhancements, and bugfixes were made.
