libGMUVision is framework for realtime computer vision applications that is designed to allow easier access to Firewire IIDC digital video cameras. It provides a set of C++ bindings for libdc1394 and Qt widgets for building graphical applications that process video streams in real time. A small sample application (Koriander Lite, based on the Coriander project) is included.

Release Notes: This release features fine-grained control over camera features and parameters, mostly complete support for getting and setting camera features (including through the Qt widgets), support for enumerating avaliable cameras, available capture formats, modes, and speed settings, and partial support for automatic conversions (YUV to RGB is implemented). There is also support for both video1394 (DMA) and raw1394 interfacing, and continuous as well as fixed number of frames capture modes.
