    Release Notes: This release adds the ability to mount Firefox, an implicit overmounting regression fix, Emacs and xwin modules which support rereading, a new ferris-file-to-fifo client to allow editing libferris files with non-libferris clients such as vi, updates to the GTK+ tree model, new implicit tree smushing for the personal RDF store, a new ferris-myrdf-query for running SPARQL queries, personal RDF schema updates, and multiple updates to the curl module.

      Release Notes: The ability to mount Emacs (see FAQ). Bugfixes in XPath2 support. Improved copy-to-self test in ferriscp for strange URLs. Automount to find EA has been disabled by default for tar files, because it was slow and most tar files do not contain EA. GTKTreeStore model improvements.

        Release Notes: xalan 1.10 compatability was added. Minor gcc 4.0.2 code cleanup was done. The remembrance:// filesystem and branchfs were added. The ferris-redirect client was added for redirection to virtual files. ferris-bash-exec.sh was added to allow bash script execution from virtual files. myrdf handling was updated. Updating myrdf is now implicitly handled during cp and mv operations. ferris-rdf-smush-new-url and ferris-rdf-smush-union-urls clients were added. Updates were made to FerrisFileActions, fcompress, and ferris-find. ferris-set-file-action-for-type was added. Fixes were made to Shell::acquireContext().

          Release Notes: The new ferris-find client was added, which operates like find(1) but evaluates against a libferris file metadata index. View and edit execution code was imported from ego. A remembrance EA was added for tracking file view and edit operations. A regression in NativeContext::native_readSubContext() for fam event hanlding was fixed. A bug in ferrisls vert mode for long filenames was fixed.

            Release Notes: Major improvements and bugfixes to XPath 2.0 handling. The lightweight DOM filesystem wrapper has been extended. The native file:// handler is now more aware of kernel automounting. The ability to export a Concept Lattice as a conceptual schema has been added. Concept Lattice layout code has been imported from ego. There are many other updates to Formal Concept Analysis code.

              Release Notes: Annodex EA and mounting support. Federated eaindex support. The ability to mount kword and kspread files, as-text support for RTF, TEX, OO, PS, and koffice. The test suite has moved to a separate package. There are new tail and head clients, updates for ferriscp, and minor updates for curl, PostgreSQL, and eet plugins. getHomeDirPath_nochecks() now caches when not in setuid mode. mysql++ API usage has been updated to mysql++-1.7.40. ferris-setup-template-findex-database.sh has been updated. There is a new custom lexicon using Boost::multimap.

                Release Notes: STLport use was made optional. Clients may now tell libferris it is in setuid mode. A regression in isDir() logic was fixed. URL reporting for eaquery:// was improved. New directories were added under eaquery:// to allow a maximum file cutoff for result size. TSearch2 usage was improved. A minor improvement was made in rpm:// views. root:// is now more populated. The Lucene index module was changed to use Lucene 1.4.x. Fixes were made for boost 1.33. mysql++ and KDE3 detection were improved.

                  Release Notes: Significant speed improvements were made for mounting OpenOffice files, for EA indexing some composite files, for EA indexing when one has many emblems, and for the ImageMagicK EA generator for native files. The ImageMagicK EA generator now ignores SVG and XPM to avoid crashes. The KDE3 EA generator now ignores XPM to avoid crashes in Qt. Marshaling was improved in the KDE3 EA generator. Cleanups were made for rational values in the EXIF module. Pipe handling in Runner was improved. xfsutil.cpp now compiles when XFS is not available. The CacheManager_private.hh file is included.

                    Release Notes: Latitude, longitude, and google-maps-location EA were added for geospatial tagging of files. The megapixels EA now has optional support for the KDE3 metadata interface. The optional ability to mount OpenOffice documents, bibtex, XWindow, and klipper was added. XML mounting abilities were improved. Bugfixes were made for emblem handling in EA indexes. Minor bugfixes were made for the EXIF and ID3 plugins. Bugfixes were made for passive view rereading and a rare bug for sorted active view and file deletion. The code was fixed for gcc 4.0.1. Six new clients were added for setting up Formal Concept Analysis.

                      Release Notes: The ability to attach emblems to Extended Attributes was added. refreshAllConceptsContingentCounter() now uses a faster spatial algorithm. ferris-lattice-from-cfi now uses a border algorithm and ferris-create-fca-scale-urls can now use RDF/Wordnet. Memory leaks in XML::writeMessage() and Medallion::save() were fixed along with a regression in out of band RDF EA. Preliminary support for a native "rename" method in the etagere:// filesystem was added. GCC 4.x fixes were made for the DTL context plugin. A move was made to Evolution 2.2 for mounting. A stock icon bug in libferrisui was fixed.
