Release Notes: Improvements were made to ferris-first-time-user. The ClipAPI now falls back to using command line clients if DISPLAY is not set. myrdf and rdfcacheattrs were re-enabled using dbenvironments where available. ferris-verify-dot-ferris-databases.sh was added for testing for corrupted redland databases for builds which do not support dbenvironments. The copy to self test in FerrisCopy was improved. An URL escaping problem in the pg ea index module when touching docidtimes was fixed. There were also fixes for building on Debian systems, various improvements in the configure script, and updates for swig wrappers.
Release Notes: The ability to desktop search with Google Earth was added. Many updates were made to the postgresql ea and fulltext indexers. rdfcacheattrs was temporarily disabled due to the high potential for redland db corruption. Improvements were made to xsltfs:// and ferrismv. ferris-mount-etagere-as-kml.sh was added to setup a Google Earth fuse mountpoint. Implicit tree smushing speed was increased. Cross process emblem creation notification was added. Changes were made to the Xapian fulltext modules, so such indexes will need to be remade. The Rememberance RDF format was updated.
Release Notes: A Redland RDF EA indexer plugin and a Beagle fulltext indexer plugin were added. ferris-capplet-medallion was updated. Fixes were made for various other regressions.
Release Notes: New features include the ability to cache a derived EA into an RDF store, the ability to put xsltfs arguments in the URL scheme prefix, the ability to customize the file postfix for xsltfs output, the ability to implicitly mount XML from an obby buffer, and the libferris-tree-as-xml EA on mounted XML. ferris-filesystem-to-xsltfs-sheets can now set up a FUSE mountpoint and mount script. Improvements were made to the thin filesystem DOM wrapper. Selecting the default location and storage for myrdf was cleaned up. Overmount attempts are no longer made for the emblem:emblems-pixbuf EA.
Release Notes: A new ferris-filesystem-to-xsltfs-sheets command was added to automatically generate a set of forward and reverse xslt sheets to obtain a desired document format. A proof of concept example generates a virtual Excel 2003 document from a mounted PostgreSQL database. Reverse xsltfs stylesheets now resolve updates using relative paths by default. PostgreSQL mounting now exposes some schema metadata. Initial support for namespaces in mounted XML was added. A bad interaction of implicit "-d" for ferrisls and overmounting was fixed. Small bugfixes were made for gcc 4.1.x.
Release Notes: This release adds xsltfs:// for reading/writing virtual filesystems created as the result of XSL on an underlying filesystem, a bugfix for runaway inference in Context::getAttributeRootEmblem(), large mountDOM() speed improvements, implied -d in ferrisls when listing non-directories from the commandline, and a fix for the -h option in ferrisls in some environments.
Release Notes: The ability to perform full data journal across processes for mounted XML was added. The ability to mount libobby was added. A new index module was added to invoke an external perl script for results. The VM system updated and optimized. The FerrisCopy code now preserves RDF metadata as RDF at the destination, and gracefully downgrades kernel EA into RDF if the destination doesn't support kernel EA. A resource leak in the Xine plugin was fixed. Handling of larger Etagere is now more efficient. Logic for using sendfile(2) for file copying was added. sigc++2.x can be optionally used to compile.

The ability to select a storage method for personal RDF, updates to fam API usage to avoid deadlock with gamin in rare but possible cases, and large GTKTreeModel speed improvements. A few subtle bugs in GTKTreeModel were fixed. Updates for hidden symbol removal. is-unseen EA can now be written too. Improvements to tree copying code.
Release Notes: This release adds the ability to mount Firefox, an implicit overmounting regression fix, Emacs and xwin modules which support rereading, a new ferris-file-to-fifo client to allow editing libferris files with non-libferris clients such as vi, updates to the GTK+ tree model, new implicit tree smushing for the personal RDF store, a new ferris-myrdf-query for running SPARQL queries, personal RDF schema updates, and multiple updates to the curl module.
