Release Notes: Meta-data extractors for PDF and PostScript (ps) were added. A small bug in the JPG extractor was fixed. The license was changed from LGPL to GPL.
Release Notes: An extractor for detecting various MIME types was added. Portability to C compilers other than GCC was improved, and minor bugfixes were made.
Release Notes: Segmentation faults when running on Ogg with empty entries in the meta information were fixed. A bug when parsing certain HTML code was also resolved.

Furthermore, the interface to the plugins was changed such that the file is mapped by the driver instead of having each plugin read the file individually.
