libdlna aims at being a reference implementation of DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) standards. Its primary goal is to provide DLNA support to uShare, an embedded DLNA and UPnP A/V media server, but it will be used to build both DLNA servers and players in the long term.

    Release Notes: One header file was missing from the previous tarball release. Support has been added for LPCM and HeAACv2 profiles introduced in DLNA 1.5. There is a better check of the AAC ADTS frame header.

      Release Notes: Both shared and static libraries are properly built. Some GNU CC specific syntax was removed. Some elements were hidden from the public API.

        Release Notes: This release corrects many compilation warnings. It has support for a shared/static library build. It generates valid DMS descriptions. The public API has been updated.

          Release Notes: The public API was updated. Code simplifications and bugfixes were made. The library's thread-safety was ensured.

            Release Notes: Complete decoding of AAC profile variants (LC/LTP/HE/BSAC). Fixes for memory leaks. A bug with ATRAC profile compliance has been fixed. Debian packages have been added.
