Release Notes: Everything was moved to a new namespace. The macro DEBUG was renamed to CWDEBUG. Several functions have been renamed. The interface to the BFD portion has been changed drastically (please read the NEWS file in the source distribution for details) The coredump bug in internal_malloc, called from the constructor of a global object as reported for Solaris, has been fixed.
Release Notes: A DejaGNU/testsuite, no need in Linux to specify -lbfd -liberty when linking with -lcwd, a new debian directory to allow building of .deb packages, and three bugfixes (two related to a ulimit with a limited core size, and one that caused the ownership of a locked lockable_auto_ptr to still be transferred when the assignment operator was used, which resulted in an API change).
Release Notes: A new example project showing how to use libcwd, Solaris support, a much-improved autoconf/automake configuration, a spec file for building an RPM, and improved support for FreeBSD.
Release Notes: The dependency on `prototype' has been removed. The package now uses autoconf/automake/libtool for its configuration. demangle.cc was completely rewritten, so that it now also supports demangling of symbols. This removes the dependency on `cplus_demangle' of libiberty (which is not exported in shared versions of that library).
Release Notes: Support for FreeBSD 4.0, improvements to bfd.cc (lookup of symbols and source:line info), and minor bugfixes.
Release Notes: First public release.
