Release Notes: This is the first official release of Libchipcard5. From this version on, Libchipcard no longer provides its own resource manager. Instead, PC/SC is now used. This greatly increases the range of supported devices. This release needs the latest version of Gwenhywfar4.

    Release Notes: This release has been adapted to latest changes in Gwenhywfar. A client configuration file is no longer needed since PC/SC is used now.

    Release Notes: This is the first beta release for libchipcard5. From this version on, libchipcard will no longer ship its own resource manager, but instead uses PC/SC. This makes Libchipcard support readers that previously were poorly supported or not supported at all.

    Release Notes: This release adds a patch which adds support for some more CCID readers. It also contains a patch which improves error handling.

    Release Notes: This release fixes problems with recent versions of libHAL. Some reader descriptions have been added.

    Release Notes: This release reintroduces a CryptToken for STARCOS cards and improves support for the upcoming "Elektronische Gesundheitskarte" which can now be read by the kvkread tool along with old "Krankenversichertenkarte" cards. Hardware scans can now be triggered by signals again. (This was broken in previous releases.)

    Release Notes: This release adds support for two more readers (O2 Micro 776 and Cherry ST2000-U). Some bugs have been fixed and support for static linking has been improved.

    Release Notes: This is the first stable release of Libchipcard4 which no longer links against OpenSSL. It has been tested on Linux and Windows.
