Release Notes: This release includes a new -L option to disable LESSOPEN processing, and further support for large (64 bit) file addressing. Large file support is now set up by the configure script. autoconf 2.54 is now used. configure.in, acconfig.h, and defines.h.top were replaced with configure.ac. Overstriking underscore with underscore is now bold or underlined depending on context. 7 spaces is now used for line numbers in -N mode, if possible. Some bugs in handling overstriking in UTF-8 files have been fixed, along with some nroff issues in the man page.
