Release Notes: This release fixes the transaction numbers, which in some cases started at 2 instead of 1, importing and exporting, which sometimes caused the accounttypes to not be updated properly, and startup, when the welcome screen showed up even if it wasn't supposed to.
Release Notes: A bug where importing a CSV chart of accounts didn't work was fixed, and import/export CSV account types were added. An option to allow transaction ID numbers to start at one for each accounting period was added. New advanced menus for editing all the report definitions were added. Bugs in the "first time startup" routines were fixed. A bug where the first time startup routine's "default help window width" didn't work was fixed. A bug where the read message in the transaction screen came up too often was fixed.
Release Notes: Lazy 8 Ledger was changed to be compatible with jEdit 4.2. Lazy 8 Ledger can no longer be run with a jEdit version 4.1 or less. Some window properties could not be saved, and were lost when turning off the program. This has been fixed. A nice link to a bookkeeping tutorial was added. Lots of very minor changes were made everywhere, both in the documentation and in the program.
Release Notes: Several new reports were added. The way that customers and projects are referenced was redesigned. The ability to customize the account types was added, which makes the program more adaptable to different countries. A new communication system was added between all the windows, so that when data in one window is updated, all the other windows are automatically updated. Previously, a restart of the program was required to update all windows. Many other minor feature changes and documentation changes were made.
Release Notes: Many requested that it be possible to leave the invoice date in the transaction input screen from the previous entry so that they wouldn't have to type in the date every time. It is done and it is an option.

Lazy8Ledger was made more user-friendly to the jEdit environment by changing menus only temporarily instead of permanently. Some bugs in the CSV importing screens were fixed.
Release Notes: The installation wizard crashed in some cases, and has been fixed. Diagrams with bimonthly, quarterly, or half-year had errors, and have been fixed. In Linux, the transaction entry window was fixed so that it properly sets focus to the invoice date at the end of a transaction entry. SIE import has been changed to allow mulitple imports into the same company.
Release Notes: All reports are now printed out from one screen instead of several different screens. Reports for a list of accounts and a list of customers/projects have been added. In Swedish, there is a standard list of accounts to choose from to add to your own list of accounts. All the libraries are updated, which will add a higher quality to all reports, graphs, and database transactions.

Release Notes: This is a major new release. The size of the program has increased four times due to the added graphics packages. The new features include the ability to export and import CSV files and SIE files. All reports have been redone to produce high quality output with PDF, CSV, HTML, and Excel file formats. A graphics module with bar, line, and pie diagrams was added. Searching the database for the records you want is now easier.
