Release Notes: Numerous moderate bugfixes were made, particularly relating to AIO on 64-bit Linux and to segmentation faults with GM.

Bugs in memory barriers and spinlocks for x86 and x86_64 architectures have been fixed. Profiling and backtracing support have been added. Asynchronous I/O has been disabled by default as a workaround for problems with some filesystems. Minor timeout bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: This release has a workaround for ADIO_Resize which can cause poor MPI-IO performance if a file is truncated.

Release Notes: This version adds the ability to tune the heartbeat from command-line. It adds aliases for command-line arguments. The help documentation was updated, along with the manual page and verbose output.
Release Notes: This release adds version compatibility checking, syslog option, resource usage collection, and a settable timeout. It fixes memory leaks for large buffers.
