Release Notes: Shortly after version 6.5 was released, a bug was discovered that manifested itself by breaking pty support on some operating systems (including Linux) and prevented running MPI programs on remote nodes. This release fixes that bug.
Release Notes: Fixes for some bugs with respect to MPI message ordering rules, endian issues with the IMPI server and other ranks, and DATASYNC and SYNCACK message mixups, highwater/ackmark behavior conforms to the clarified IMPI standard, adding standard attributes to MPI_COMM_WORLD (IMPI_CLIENT_SIZE, IMPI_CLIENT_COLOR, IMPI_HOST_SIZE, and IMPI_HOST_COLOR), and new functionality for MPI_Bcast, MPI_Reduce, and MPI_Allreduce.
Release Notes: This release adds many new features, including man pages for all MPI-1 and MPI-2 functions, a full GNU autoconf/automake-ized build (including full VPATH support), a faster lamboot, PBS-aware support to allow multiple LAM instances on a single node, a new SMP-aware mpirun syntax, shared library support via GNU libtool, new "lamhalt" (immediately shut down the LAM runtime environment) and "lamnodes" (reverse mapping from nX/cX nomenclature to hostnames) commands, MPI_ALLOC_MEM, MPI_FREE_MEM, MPI_INIT_THREAD, MPI_IS_THREAD_MAIN, MPI_QUERY_THREAD API calls, and lots of bugfixes.
Release Notes: This branch contains the IMPI extensions for interoperability with other MPI implementations.
Release Notes: A fix for a major bug in the shared memory message transport engine (RPI).
Release Notes: Initial freshmeat announcement.
