LameBrain is a LAME-based MP3 encoder with the following features: drag-and-drop batch file processing, CD ripping with FreeDB support, and saving of encoding settings in "profiles," which can be loaded for later use.

Release Notes: Several significant bugfixes are in this release, most related to CD ripping and encoding profile handling. Some minor aesthetic changes were made, as well as some cleanup of the preferences window.
Release Notes: This release features major GUI enhancements, some new capabilities, and several bug fixes. The number of floating windows has been dramatically reduced, since all the main encoding windows (single file/batch/CD ripper) have been combined into a single window. ID3v1.1 tag viewing and editing has been enabled by using id3ed. A new binary of LAME is included with optimizations for G4+ processors. Debug logging and other trouble-shooting tools have been added. The directory structure has been cleaned up.
Release Notes: This release adds the first complete version of the documentation. The batch encoder will now accept folders, and will optionally recurse subfolders. A couple bugs were squashed.
Release Notes: New features were added (an "Expert" tab allowing manual entry of commandline parameters, customizable naming schemes for ripped files, and a preference to delete source files after encoding finishes). Encoding Settings window control states are saved when window is closed. More progress was made on documentation, and other updates were made.
