KWifiSelector

KWifiSelector is a KDE tool to display all available wireless networks (WLAN). For each of them, the parameters (such as IP configuration and WEP keys) can be configured. It also allows the user to connect to and disconnect from a selected network.

    Release Notes: The root elevation mechanism was changed from using kdesu to sudo. This allows avoiding giving everyone the root password.

    Release Notes: Help texts in German have been added. Most dialog items now have tooltips attached. Some minor bugs have been fixed.

    Release Notes: The help system has been fully extended to cover all help buttons. The help is currently in English only. An endless loop when modifying a network configuration has been fixed.

    Release Notes: A management interface for all networks you have scanned has been added. You may delete, modify, or add entries accompanied with additional data (like WEP keys). A basic help system is also part of this release.

    Release Notes: A tray icon has been added that shows the signal level. The program tries to elevate itself (using kdesu) to get root rights. Some settings are now configurable via a menu item. Some bugs have been fixed.
