Release Notes: An option for the MTU size of the PPP connection was added. Importing a PCF file and the "own dns server" and "usepeerdns" options for pptp were fixed. If no profile exists, all options which are not necessary are removed, and if the profile list is subsequently empty, the connect action is disabled. There are now two mailing lists: kvpnc-user and kvpnc-devel.

Release Notes: This release has a new profile manager, debug options, target host pinging, support for IPSec (FreeSWAN/raccoon) with certificate (X.509) and PSK support, PCKS12 certificate import, import of Cisco pcf profile files, storing of size and position from the main window, a new handbook (in progress), and a Chinese translation. It handles required actions instead of vpnc-connect/vpnc-disconnect. Firewall rules (iptables) and route are now set by kvpnc. Special remote X.509 ID is now possible. There are fixes in output reading, connection time, and the KDE 3.1.x build.
Release Notes: Startup has been fixed at the point at which it says that the log file can't be opened. A crash which occurred if no profile existed and "advanced settings" was clicked has been fixed. The KDE desktop link has been updated and the profile settings have been moved into the menu and toolbar.
