Release Notes: A minor proxy bug was fixed, compatibility with Slackware 12 was added, and Slackware 9.1 support has been dropped. DO NOT UPGRADE Kslackcheck if you are still using Slackware 9.1.


Release Notes: Slacklogo menu installation has been fixed. The Slovak translation has been updated, and a Deutsch translation added. The popup style has changed, moving from kdialog to a knotify DCOP call. Another bugfix has been made in proxy connections, which should now work as expected.


Release Notes: According to the new -current layout, KDE binaries and related files have been moved to /usr instead of /opt, which would also work in official Slackware releases. There is a fix for proxy connection: this release tires to find proxy settings in wgetrc, and for now the default mode is a proxy connection without authentication. To obtain authentication, just set new value in PROXYAUTH in kslackcheck.conf.


Release Notes: A pair of new translations (Bosniak and French) were added. Some bugs were fixed, and a little improvement was made to the package engine.


Release Notes: This version is mainly a bugfix release with some improvements in the package check engine, especially for /patches packages.


Release Notes: The check engine has been improved against packages with non-standard version numbers. Some issues with the new KDE menu were fixed. Some small bugs were fixed here and there. Some kdialog restyling was done. The mirrors were updated in kslackcheck.conf. A Turkish translation was added.


Release Notes: Handling of language files was improved: just put a translated file into the conf directory to install it. Polish and Russian translations were added. An update was made for Slackware 10.2, and KDE 3.5 testing was done. A lot of bugs were fixed. The documentation was upgraded.


Release Notes: MD5sum checking on downloaded packages was implemented. Some new translations were added for Italian, English, Serbian, Slovak, and Portuguese. Handling of the download directory was improved to clean some mess. Some changes in plugin.py regarding packages with strange version number were merged, and now the algorithm seems to run fine. Great improvement was done to the download progress bar, so it now runs very smoothly. Some small fixes and improvements were made.


Release Notes: This release has a conf file for function tuning. The file is placed in /etc/kslackcheck and can be overridden by similar files in ~/.kslackcheck. A manual has been written. The user directory is now .kslackcheck.


Release Notes: This release fixes a bug introduced with the 2.5 release on importing the Slackware GPGKEY if it was not present yet.
