kontent is a local content management system. Most content management systems run on the server, but this program will run on a local computer, allow you to manage the files associated with a Web site, and then upload them to the server as static pages. It can be used to generate an index, a table of contents, an RSS feed file, site navigation, and templates and library items. It has the ability to include items that are used many times without server side includes, and the ability to check links.
