Release Notes: This version sports OpenDocument as the default file format, accessibility, a new project planning tool KPlato, professional color support and adjustment layers in Krita, and the long awaited database management application Kexi 1.0.

Release Notes: The OASIS OpenDocument support was improved even more, especially in KChart. It's still not perfect, but interoperability with OpenOffice.org was improved a lot. OASIS OpenDocument is now the default file format, accessibility for users with disabilities was enhanced, and a unified scripting approach was introduced. KPlato, a project planning tool, is newly included. Krita gained professional color support. Kexi strives towards its first major release.
