I would love to assist with updating this project. I basically wanted to update the software and OS to the latest versions and once that is running well maybe look at other tweaks etc.. Please let me know if there is a way to get the source and documentation?
Please forgive me if I've missed something obvious on the site I'm new to freecode.
Heck drfreak we all assumed you abandoned this project years ago. But yes I would love for you to put some modifications on the project.
I've got some renewed interest in this project and would like to upgrade my linux chops and come up with a new version.
My question is, since my favourite frontend gxmame hasn't been updated in a couple of years, has anyone got suggestions on another one to use?
My main requirement is to have joystick-selection of the games freeing up the need to have a keyboard in cabinet projects. Does anyone have suggestions?

Really? Interesting... Would someone please volunteer to
help and collaborate on this then? I am intrigued to have
such a recent post and have been thinking myself of doing
an update recently; however, I could really use some help.

Yes, we all want an update of this project!
Anyone still interested in this project?
I'd like to know if anyone would like KnoppiXMAME to be
updated. If not, I will officially abandon it.
If so, please let me know why you think this bootable X-MAME
CD with a remastering GUI would still be cool. I am just itching
for a reason to revive it.
could you put this resource http://www.syslib.fr/Projets/Js2Mouse/
I think this very interesting.

boot.img doesn't exist. anyone?
can't add roms
KnoppixMame is a very good idea, but i have a BIG problem.
I tried to add roms to iso with winiso, but don't work.
I tried to burn image as multisession with alcohol120%, and add roms files after with nero,
but can't find roms with file->audit ....
So i tried to add iso with addroms command at boot promp.
After file -> audit ... I closed and created ISO.
But when i boot i got this :
I tried to boot with 1.2.1 but my computer don't want to boot with this version. ( Asus P4P800 mobo )
I really need some help...
Was wondering how things were going on the new version have not seen anything for awhile
