Kiwi Backup

Kiwi Backup is an online backup system that can handle up to 200GB of data through an ADSL link. Network traffic is reduced using a block incremental system and de-duplication of data. The traffic is secured by an SSL transport layer.

    Release Notes: This release handles big files better with a split system. This is very useful for small bandwidth and huge files (>10GB).

      Release Notes: This release for Windows is based on a new HTTP library. The client can now handle open files with the Windows VSS option. This version is also more robust when running on multiple servers.

        Release Notes: Kiwi backup can now handle remote disks with authentication via login/password. The Web administration for the backup server has been rewritten, and is more user-friendly.

          Release Notes: This release is a full rewrite of the application. It adds clustered storage and global de-duplication of backed-up files. There is a new remote Web GUI.

            Release Notes: This version better handles the restore process in text-only mode. Some problems with filename encoding in Latin1 on UTF8 systems were corrected.

            Nice autocongratulations :)
            Could you please specify the licence, which is proprietary I think ?
            Moreover, it needs a subscription and cannot be used elsewhere.
