Release Notes: This service release, aside from many fixes and improvements, also brings new features like "User Mode" that makes it easy to deploy Kexi applications, and a much extended "Assign action" command for buttons in a form. In the Table Designer, many actions no longer require removing data from tables. "Add column" and "Delete column" external tools for editing table columns in a .kexi database file without removing data from them have been introduced. Kexi now supports multiple (joined) visible columns in the combo box widget, so (for instance) it can display name and surname.

Release Notes: Kexi, the desktop database application, has received over 270 improvements including the ability to handle images using the new "object" data type, the ability to compact the database, support for automatic data type recognition, and Kross scripting tools. MS Access-like macros are now supported as well. The user's handbook was updated.
