Kexi is an integrated environment for managing data. It helps with creating database schemas and inserting, querying, and processing data. It integrates smoothly into KDE and KOffice, and is designed to compete with Microsoft Access. It is supported under Linux and MS Windows.

Release Notes: This service release, aside from many fixes and improvements, also brings two new features. The first is a "Find" window that works within table, query, and form views as a global, context-dependent window. Printing and previewing images within Simple Printouts is supported.
Release Notes: This service release, aside from many fixes and improvements, also brings new features like "User Mode" that makes it easy to deploy Kexi applications, and a much extended "Assign action" command for buttons in a form. In the Table Designer, many actions no longer require removing data from tables. "Add column" and "Delete column" external tools for editing table columns in a .kexi database file without removing data from them have been introduced. Kexi now supports multiple (joined) visible columns in the combo box widget, so (for instance) it can display name and surname.

MS Access-like macros are now supported as well. The user's handbook was updated.
