Release Notes: Various bugfixes and minor feature enhancements throughout the project: Web searches improved, more tolerant on imported documents, and usability improvements.
Release Notes: Support for Windows (compiles out of the box). More online search engines: SpringerLink, PubMed, ACM Digital Library, JSTOR, IEEE Xplorer, and Science Direct. Improvements in all other online search engines: Google Scholar, arXiv, and BibSonomy. Duplicate finding and merging code and user interface. BibTeX references can be sent to LyX via a pipe.
Release Notes: Selection of pasted elements was corrected. Handling of encodings in BibTeX files was improved, including storing settings in file. Handling of duplicated fields and multiple values in one fieled (e.g. keywords) when loading BibTeX files was improved. Regular expressions were improved to detect URLs, files, and DOI numbers. Various GUI fixes were made. A link to the bug tracker homepage was added.
Release Notes: This release added a man page and a URL list that allows you to choose from local files. Behavior of read-only controls was corrected. A more robust/flexible importer for BibTeX code was provided. A "recently used files" menu item was added. Issues in online/Web searches were fixed, including handling of "cancel" events. There were numerous other bugfixes and improvements.
Release Notes: Support was added for BibUtils and Bib2Db5 to read and write more bibliography formats. Duplicates can be found in bibliography files. Multiple backup files are created. All text encodings supported by iconv are supported. The ability to query CiteSeerX, IEEExplorer, Computer Science Bibliographies, and ScienceDirect was added. The ability to query Z39.50 servers was added. Viewing primary and online references was added. Entry IDs can be normalized according to a suggestion system. Multiple selection in the sidebar is now possible. Numerous other improvements were made. Various bugs were fixed.
Release Notes: Translations (Russian and German). Searching in Google Scholar, and arXiv. Editing ID suggestions with a nice GUI. Searching the main view has been improved (exact search, any/every word). The ability to create user-defined fields that can be edited in the entry window.
Release Notes: Many usability improvements and bugfixes were made. Embedding of documents into exported PDFs is possible (if supported by the installed TeX system). More URLs to search documents are included. More online databases to search references were added. Keyword handling was improved. Suggesting entry IDs was added. Merging .bib files is possible. Handling of crossref'ed entries was improved. More functions were added to the toolbar and shortcut system.
Release Notes: Many UI improvements. A sidebar for detailed searching. Querying of online databases (PubMed). Kate is used for BibTeX source editing. Exporting to RTF has been added (using latex2rtf). Auto-completion when editing BibTeX entry fields has been added.
Release Notes: New Web search rules were added. UTF-8 string handling was made cleaner. Minor UI improvements were made. More warnings were added for incomplete BibTeX entries. Many bugfixes and internal refactoring were done.
Release Notes: This release adds many bugfixes and improvements, a much faster BibTeX parser, an improved and expanded exporter (embeddable as a KPart into Kile and Konqueror), and a UI which includes a source view for manual editing.
