    Release Notes: Unmounting of CDROMs now works on FreeBSD, adding of compressed files is now more verbose, a CGI frontend has been added, and katsch and katadd usage has changed a lot.

      Release Notes: The check_cd option defaulted to "yes"; this was fixed, and changed to "on".

        Release Notes: The code responsible for parsing program arguments has been rewritten. katadd now recognizes RPM archives. A few fixes were made in the usage() functions. A SuSE spec has been added. The README has been updated. An option to eject a CDROM after unmounting has been added.

          Release Notes: Display of bases names in reverse order, automatic mounting of CD-ROM, ability to compress bases with bzip2. searching in descriptions of bases, archiving compressed files' contents, and a lot of other new features.

            Release Notes: The Makefile was modified so that making packages is now easier. The homepage was moved to a different server.

              Release Notes: Installation via the Makefile, customizable user configuration via a .katalogrc, and a .spec file to generate a package on the PLD distribution.

                Release Notes: sed is now invoked indirectly through the $SED variable to handle the fact that the binary may be in different locations on different systems. The CD-ROM check was broken and has been corrected.

                  Release Notes: A changelog has been added. CD-ROM presence is now checked with: /bin/ls $cd >/dev/null 2>&1, so it will work even if you are using Supermount, and a GPG package signature has been added. See the changelog for more changes.
