Karmen is an easy-to-use window manager for X. It is designed to "just work". There is no configuration file, and no library dependencies other than Xlib. The input focus model is click-to-focus.

Release Notes: Window buttons look nicer when pressed. The signal handling is now completely reliable using the "self-pipe" trick. The menu has been somewhat improved.


Release Notes: This release fixes a bug that left a stale resize information window if the resized window was destroyed. It does not define a mouse cursor for the root window. People may want to do this themselves (e.g. left-handed).

A long-standing bug that caused some windows not to be managed correctly when Karmen starts was fixed. Windows are allowed to be as small as 1x1 pixel. Text positioning in window titles and menus was improved.
