Release Notes: This version contains bugfixes and slight improvements to the latest 1.3.2 development release. It also starts new 1.4 stable tree. The stable tree should be usable for general production use.
Release Notes: This version adds smsc-id value proxying to attached smsbox instances via the HTTP SMSC module. This allows load to be spread between several boxes. The PPG may now be used by specific smsc-ids that can be configured in various ways. A new OIS module added, and a validity setting was added to CIMD2. Various fixes were made, including a CIMD2 fix for correct urltrans() handling, a keep-alive lookup when HTTP proxying, PAP document parsing, SMPP optional fields, an EMI2 MO counter and assignment of non-existing fields, and various fixes to the WAP application layer.
Release Notes: This is a maintainance release to the 1.2.0 stable version with improvements to the SMPP client module and various other parts of Kannel. Several bugs have been fixed in various modules of the gateway library. A new protocol has been added (SM/ASI) to connect to SMSCs.
Release Notes: If a WML file uses single quotes (instead of double) around the character set name and the HTTP result headers also specified a character set, the WML compiler tried to use both. This has been fixed. The wapbox will now suppress server-generated error pages if they are in a format (such as HTML) that the client does not accept. When suppressing an HTTP result body, the Content-Length header is also adjusted. The Kannel 1.0.2 WAP gateway has received the official WAP 1.1 certification by WAP Forum.
Release Notes: The WMLScript compiler avoids generating zero-length functions, so that the result works on more clients. The WML compiler correctly takes the character set from HTTP headers if it wasn't specified inside the WML file. The status code sent if an HTTP response is too large for the client was corrected, and it is left alone if it already indicates a different error. A new ability to correctly encode u-dieresis in CIMD2 driver was also added.
