Release Notes: A unique SSL certificate for the JumpBox Administration Portal is generated on initial boot. The expiration date of the self signed certificate is 10 years from initial boot. An issue that complicated moving the JumpBox to a new directory with VMware has been resolved. Portability is still complicated by snapshots and suspends. Consider trying the JumpBox backup and restore tools where possible.


Release Notes: This JumpBox is now running on the production release of the v.1.1 platform, and includes several enhancements. Most notably, this includes built-in automated backups to Amazon S3, integrated Web stats for the application, a GUI-based SSL cert configuration tool, a GUI-based method for configuring an email relay, and an update of the underlying OS to Ubuntu Base 8.04 LTS.


Release Notes: vTiger has been updated to version 5.0.4. Users should be able to restore from the vTiger JumpBox versions 1.0 and later.

Release Notes: DHCP is no longer required. The JumpBox console is now an interactive text application that allows you to set a static IP for your JumpBox. A bug has been fixed that failed to properly test write permissions on a backup volume, thus improving the robustness of the backup mechanism. Apache logs will be saved for 4 weeks rather than 52 weeks. There are no application-specific updates.


Release Notes: Registration no longer requires an Internet connection. Bonjour/Avahi fixes make JumpBox visible by Bonjour. A saved backup bug has been fixed, so this release will save the specified number of backups. Changes to the Backup/Restore system should make restores possible from more old versions.


Release Notes: The navigation bar now restores properly. License validation no longer requires the JumpBox to be connected to the Internet. A bug concerning enabling SSH for the first time was fixed. A bug concerning changing a static IP address was fixed. All Ubuntu copyright notices were restored. Primary application licensing is given equal treatment. A typographical error in samba configuration was fixed.


Release Notes: A bug in restore filename checking that prevented restores from working out of the box has been fixed. sources.list has been corrected so that apt should work. Various browser-specific Javascript bugs have been fixed. The parallels config file has been updated to remove unneeded hardware. The hardware/MAC address has been added to the console message.


Release Notes: Updated to the latest version of vTiger. The amount of screen real estate taken up by the JumpBox navigation has been reduced. Navigation can now be easily removed after the JumpBox is registered. A tool was added to the JumpBox Administration UI to enable configuration of proxy server settings. The JumpBox Administration UI has been redesigned to have a cleaner look.


Release Notes: This release adds the ability to do backups/restore using a network share. It adds the ability to unlock the JumpBox to have shell access to the VM. There are various bugfixes and platform enhancements. This release has been upgraded to vTiger 5.0.2.
