Release Notes: OpenOffice.org macros and dialogs were added for easier template editing. XML data import was rewritten, based on XStream. Tags were modified to be somewhat similar to JSTL. Samples and a command line tool were included in the distribution. The license is now LGPL.

Release Notes: Support for dynamic image replacement was added. The iterate tag was enhanced to support nested tags and to alternate table row colors. Efficiency was greatly improved when generating multiple documents from the same template.

Release Notes: More powerful templating features were added, notably iterative generation of table rows and other document elements. Data sources now include XML. The templating engine was rewritten to work at the document XML level, removing the need for a running OpenOffice.org instance.
