Release Notes: This version adds support for "tags" and minor bugfixes over 2.9 and 2.10.

Release Notes: Support for "tags" was added.

Release Notes: External formatters, such as "Markdown" are now supported for reformatting body text. Many command line options for listing user parameters are now available. User and password prompting are better handled now: they display properly, and turn off echo appropriately. The user can now also turn off email replies from the client. The autolinker and -f bugs were fixed again.

Release Notes: Many improvements have been made to improve reliability including automatic retries of posting the events to the server, as well as the use of the "fast" servers if they are available to the user. Commandline entries, an autolinker, an "autodater", an automatic check to see if there is a new version on the server, and a few other features have been added. Many bugs including the 'flush' bug and the 'temporary file' bug have also been fixed.

Release Notes: The command line parser is now more robust. Added the concept of "profiles", which you can choose at the time that you make your post. A profile can contain all of the configuration information (username, journal URL, posting settings, default text). Added the "backup" switch and a default "community" name to the configuration file. A few minor bugs have been fixed, including the "backdate" flag not being set, and the configuration and profile files not being read properly for the "checkfriends" functionality.

Release Notes: The .rc file and post files now contain the URL and path to the submit CGI so that other servers can be used, other than livejournal.com. 'backdate' and 'disable comments' were added to the post headers to enable that functionality. "Ispell" support has been added. The 'sent' directory creation bug has been fixed. The 'editor' in .rc file being ignored bug has been fixed, and other minor bugs in the jerry-markup formatter have been fixed.

Release Notes: A bug where postponed messages could not be sent to the server has been fixed. The "JerryWiki" formatter has been installed and tested, to eliminate HTML from editing altogether. "Quick" post mode has been added to reduce the amount of time necessary to get into editing by setting some values to their defaults, instead of prompting the user. The "mkdir -p" command has been redone as a Perl method to eliminate the need for "mkdir" to be installed on your system.

Release Notes: The ability to create journal entries while offline and to 'postpone' entries for completion at a later date have been added. Much of the code base was rewritten.

Release Notes: A new 'checkfriends' option to check if there were any new posts to your friends list since the last time it was run with this option.

Release Notes: More friendly error messages, and Russian language support.
